Dorii Stori x Taranbir Singh Sawhney — Wearable Art Inspired by Water
At Dorii Stori, we believe that every garment should tell a story — one that flows beyond borders, cultures, and time.
For the grand finale of our “Around the World” collection, we collaborated with artist Taranbir Singh Sawhney, a contemporary visual artist based in Gurugram, India.
Taranbir’s art has always been a celebration of movement, nature, and form — and for this special artist collaboration, he turned to the one element that connects every continent: water. Drawing from the rhythm of waves and the poetry of life beneath them, he created an exclusive fish motif — a symbol of balance, continuity, and interconnectedness.
This design beautifully bridges art and fashion, transforming handwoven fabric into wearable art. The result is a limited edition print that embodies Dorii Stori’s essence — sustainable, soulful, and rooted in craftsmanship.
Every piece in this capsule is more than a garment; it’s a canvas — painted with intention, emotion, and a shared love for the planet.

Dorii Stori x Shristi Sareen— Wearable Art
At Dorii Stori, every textile begins as a story — hand-painted, heartfelt, and born from a place of deep reflection.
Both our collections, “Around the World” and “Lotus in the City,” were designed by Shristi, the founder and creative force behind Dorii Stori.
A painter since the age of fourteen, Shristi has always believed that art must mean something. When she began Dorii Stori, she didn’t want to create prints one sees everywhere — she wanted to design textiles that carry emotion, purpose, and soul.
✈️ Around the World
This collection draws inspiration from folk stories across continents, re-imagined through Shristi’s brush as abstract, contemporary motifs. Each artwork tells a tale of unity and togetherness — one world, one family.
Every line, curve, and colour celebrates cultural harmony, making Around the World not just a collection, but a global conversation in fabric.
🌸 Lotus in the City
The second collection, Lotus in the City, was born from a quiet moment in Auroville, Pondicherry, where Shristi first saw blooming lotuses amidst still water and modern life. The lotus — a symbol of purity and resilience — became her muse.
Through her interpretation, the lotus transforms into a metaphor for finding calm in chaos, grace in motion, and beauty in simplicity.
Each design in these collections is hand-painted on fine Indian textiles, then transformed into limited-edition wearable art — garments that invite you to pause, feel, and connect.
