Lotus in the City
Peace, rooted in motion.
The Lotus in the City collection was born from quiet moments of noticing—during my travels through Pondicherry and Bengaluru, two cities where spirituality and modern life exist side by side.
The first lotus appeared in Auroville, serene and grounded, rising gently above still waters. Later, the same lotus surfaced again—this time in the flower markets of Bengaluru, tucked between traffic, voices, and everyday rush. Each encounter felt like a reminder: peace follows those who learn to see it.
Soon after came the swan—first etched into the architecture of the Art of Living International Centre, and then gliding through city parks. In Indian philosophy, the swan symbolises clarity, grace, and discernment—the ability to stay calm while moving through complexity. Together, the lotus and the swan became guiding motifs for this season.
Lotus in the City represents calm in chaos, stillness in movement, and a grounded mind amidst urban madness. Designed for modern city living, each piece carries the softness of slow fashion and the strength of Indian symbolism—clothes that breathe, flow, and restore.
This collection is an invitation to wear peace—
to stay rooted like the lotus,
to move lightly like the swan,
and to find serenity, even in the busiest of days.
